Mark B. Lawson, DVM
Dr. Lawson is a native of Georgia and relocated to Montana in 2005 as the owner of Glacier Animal Hospital. He received his BS degree in Microbiology in 1989 and his DVM degree in 1993, both from the University of Georgia. Upon graduation, he practiced small animal medicine and surgery for 12 years as an associate in one of the most respected veterinary hospitals in Atlanta, Georgia. He and his wife, Laura, are blessed with two daughters, Olivia and Scarlett. The whole family is owned by an English Bulldog named “Dooley.” Dr. Lawson enjoys cycling, basketball, Bluegrass music, good barbeque, sweet tea, and college football. He can usually be found in his free time fly fishing in one of Montana’s countless fabled rivers, and he is rumored to be a closet banjo picker.
Lucy Eaton, DVM
Dr. Eaton hails from western Massachusetts and joined the team at Glacier Animal Hospital in 2013. She received her BS degree in 2009 from Marist College in New York and her DVM degree in 2013 from Tufts University outside of Boston. She has a special professional interest in both small animal surgery and cardiology. When she is not practicing veterinary medicine, she is usually mountain biking, snowboarding, hiking, or reading. Dr. Eaton made the transition west with the help of her dog, “Bubba,” and together they are hard at work discovering all that the Montana lifestyle has to offer.
